Our story

Two mothers. One kitchen-table idea.

AyurPuran began with two women, two daughters and one shared question: what are we really putting on our skin?

Pooja

The face-pack girl

Pooja was the child mixing homemade face packs and sniffing around the spice shelf. Ayurveda was a hobby, until her daughter reached her teens and acne took over. Watching her go through hard treatments, Pooja did what mothers do: she went looking for a gentler way.

Nidhi

The label reader

Nidhi was in the United States, a new mum, reading every label. Her mother-in-law arrived with an oil and a baby-massage ritual, and what stayed with Nidhi was the love behind it, a grandmother handing down what she knew.

Her daughter's walnut and pollen allergies made reading labels a habit for life. Ashram visits and camps in Haridwar led her back to the ingredients she grew up with.

Then they met in the middle

About ten years ago, Pooja's kitchen-table experiments and Nidhi's questions became AyurPuran. Pooja leads the making, the testing and the quality checks. Nidhi, an engineer and MBA who spent a decade at Intel, leads the brand and its growth.
